Thank you to one of our new parents for writing this lovely review for us. We have really enjoyed welcoming all our children back, existing and new and so happy to see how well they are all doing.
My little boy started in September 2020 in the middle of the Covid pandemic. The staff were incredibly understanding when it came to me settling him in - they made it very clear that I could go at my own pace and that there was no pressure to leave him after a couple of sessions. This was such a relief as I know in other settings staff are quite keen for you to leave your child quite quickly. I hadn’t been able to visit the nursery in May/June due to Covid so it was quite strange starting my son having never been to visit the school. I had however spoken to Rachel who is the manager at length before the school broke up for the summer holidays. She was extremely friendly as she chatted through lots of information about the nursery. As soon as we went to Stepping Stones for our first settling in session I knew it was the right nursery and felt so happy and relieved. All the staff were so friendly and my son enjoyed his first morning playing both inside and outside engaging with his key worker and all the fun activities that were set out. It was amazing to see him go off and play on his first morning while I sat back and watched. Stepping Stones is such a fantastic nursery and I highly recommend.
