Katy
CHAIRPERSON
Katy became our Chairperson in 2022 following several years of being on the committee whilst her own children attended Stepping Stones.
Katy is a fully qualified teacher often providing supply work for local schools. In her spare time she enjoys running local sewing classes for adults and children and also taking part in a Flyball club with her dogs.
TRACEY
EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER AND SENCO
CACHE Level 3 in children and young people’s workforce.
Tracey has worked with children for 15 years starting at her sons school as a volunteer, then moving on to become a Rhythm Time music leader where she worked with babies up to pre-school. During this time she completed her level 3 and was offered a position within a nursery where she became room leader. Tracey joined Stepping Stones in June 2019. When not working she enjoys travelling, reading and walking her black lab Monty.
RACHEL
MANAGER
Level 6 Early Years Professional Status & Designated Safeguarding Lead

Rachel worked as an Events Manager before experiencing a ‘light bulb moment’ during her time on the Parent Committee at Stepping Stones and observing the positive impact Stepping Stones had on her own children’s inspiring early years education. Rachel began retraining in 2007, gaining her Level 6 in 2011 and has fulfilled a variety of roles including Sendco, Designated Safeguarding Lead and finally taking over as Manager in 2016.
Outside of Stepping Stones Rachel enjoys being a taxi to her teenagers, walking the beautiful local countryside of Claverdon with her husband and their very scruffy dog Tatty, cooking and appreciating family meals together.
JULIA
EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER
BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies
Julia worked in the reception class in a school in Birmingham for over 20 years. Julia and her husband have recently moved to Henley in Arden and are currently exploring everything this beautiful area has to offer. When she is not at work Julia enjoys socializing with family and friends and walking her dog Poppy.
AMANDA
DEPUTY MANAGER
NNEB Certificate in Nursery Nursing Level 3

Amanda began working in childcare over 25 years ago, taking a break during this time when she had her children and lived overseas. She joined Stepping Stones in February 2019 and enjoys reading, travelling and shopping.
STEPHANIE

Stephanie is a Mum of two who has previously worked as a childminder before taking on a role at Stepping Stones. When she's not working, Stephanie enjoys listening to music, crafting with her children and going on adventures.
WENDY
EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER
Wendy has over 18 years of experience in childcare in a variety of different roles. She has worked as a nanny in Australia and worked in various nursery's before coming to work at Stepping Stones in 2015. In Wendy's spare time she loves to walk her dog Benjy, keep fit and socialise with her friends.
HANNAH
ADMINISTRATOR
Hannah has worked at Stepping Stones since 2017. Originally she was the treasurer for the committee whilst her daughter attended the setting. In her spare time Hannah enjoys running, spending time with her husband and children and walking her beloved Labradors Hugo and Tilly.
